“The Cathy Harley Educational Grant in Memory of Aldora Harder and Cathy Foster [sponsored by ConvaTec] offset the cost associated with completing the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course. My advisor [and] I decided to focus my selective on the development of a conservative sharp debridement education package with an associated policy and procedure, [a] proficiency checklist, and [a] competency agreement. I presented my selective to the members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Wound and Skin Care Committee [and they] decided to work [it] into a provincial initiative.” - Mary Beresford, Recipient of 2007 scholarship
